Enhance Classroom and Campus Community

Create modern, flexible spaces that strengthen learning, living, wellness, competition, collaboration, and belonging across campus.

Create Places Where Possibility Takes Shape

The places where students learn, live, create, compete, and connect are an essential part of the Illinois Wesleyan experience. They bring people and ideas together, create a sense of belonging, and provide the setting for many of the experiences students remember long after graduation.

Through this priority, Illinois Wesleyan will invest in spaces and resources that reflect how students learn and engage today while preparing the University for what comes next. These investments will create more flexible, collaborative, and inspiring environments where students can exchange ideas, build community, pursue their interests, and make the most of their time at IWU.

Why donors give

“It feels great to give back. There's one phrase I use, it's ‘I'm not giving to the university, I'm giving through the university.’ I see the direct effect it has on students.”

“Illinois Wesleyan has a great reputation in all aspects of higher learning, and I wanted to make sure its students have access to the best financial tools available.”
